Joanne has extensive experience in Human Resources, having worked within Corporate HR for the last 20 years. She has led HR teams within both the public and private sectors. She has a detailed knowledge of HR in schools having been a key member of a county council schools HR team for the past 7 years. Joanne has designed new systems for absence management and has a wide experience of leading on union negotiations. Joanne has a thorough understanding of the needs of schools and a deep knowledge of best practice procedures for supporting high quality staff induction and development as well as absence management, capability and conduct.
Joanne is committed to supporting improvements in schools and she has been a school Governor for the past twelve years.
Professor Mick Waters
Mick is our Academy Trust lead on curriculum design and learning. Mick is currently an independent trainer, consultant and coach. He has previously been a senior adviser with the UK's largest Local Authority where he led on personal development and on behaviour and developed a national reputation as the leading authority on personal development in the education world.
Mick brings our member schools a proven track record in effective and purposeful school improvement that makes significant impact on raising standards.
Pauline worked as one of Her Majesty's Inspectors of schools from 2004 until September 2013. She has considerable leadership experience as a senior leader in a secondary school, as senior adviser in a local authority and as a Managing Inspector for OFSTED. She has particular expertise in work with schools causing concern and those requiring improvement. She also led one of the first inspections of local arrangements for supporting school improvement. Pauline's particular areas of expertise are in school improvement in both the primary and secondary sectors and leadership management.
